Nikkaluokta to STF Kebnekaise mountain station

When going from Nikkaluokta to Kebnekaise mountain station, you have 19 km of beautiful hiking ahead of you. The first 5 km to Lake Láddjujávri consists of easy hiking through birch forest. Next to the lake you will find the restaurant Enoks, where you can stay for a meal or some easier snacks before continuing your hike. From this point you can choose to take a boat over Láddjujávri to save some time and make the hike a bit easier. Daily departures from mid June to mid September and the boat ride takes approximately 20-30 minutes. The boat trips are adapted to regular bus times Nikkaluokta – Kiruna. The trail then continues along the valley and Láddjujuvri before it eventually turns off and starts to wind up the mountain slope towards the mountain station. During the last kilometers to the station the landscape opens up and the terrain becomes somewhat steeper. The walk usually takes between 5-6 hours.
