Try Cross-country skiing

During a ski trip in sparkling cold midwinter snow or on the spring’s first sun-warmed crowd, we discover Abisko National Park.

The presence of the wild animals becomes apparent as the skis cross their tracks. We get a feeling for snow in varied terrain while the beautiful views surround us. We first get acquainted with the ski equipment and learn the basic techniques and then go on a ski trip. The skills will be put to the test as we cut our way up steep slopes, glide over frozen lakes and keep our balance on downhill slopes. The guide points out some favorite places and tells about the area, the Sami culture and wildlife before the trip returns.
