Northern lights with huskies

Take a seat on the sled, with 12 Alaskan huskies in front of you with a chance to see the Northern Lights.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Kiruna and drive back to our kennel. After getting dressed with warm winter clothing and boots, you’ll be more than welcome to say hello to our friendly and lovely Alaskan huskies. We will then harness up the dogs and if you want you’re more than welcome to help us. Once everything is set up, it’s time to take a seat on the sled and head into the Arctic night while our guide drives your sled!

The second we hit the trail, the dogs will stop barking and all you will hear is the crackling sound of the wooden runners on the snow and the panting of the dogs, with the guide’s headlamp lighting the trail ahead of you. We will head north out of the kennel, away from the lights, driving through vast open areas so that we can make sure not to miss the chance to see the Northern Lights should they come out. Half-way through the tour we will have a break in our Lavvu to warm up and enjoy a warm drink and cake in front of the fire. During which of course you have plenty of time to learn about the dogs and the Arctic and ask as many questions to your guide as you want. After that we will be heading back home to the kennel.
