Day tour by snowmobile

Welcome to join us on a fantastic snowmobile adventure by the Torne river and the forests around our beautiful Swedish Lapland. We will show you our pride and joy; nature. We want you to see a part of everything, the river, the lakes and the forest in their beautiful winter garb. If we’re lucky, we might also see some wild animals that live up here with us in the Arctic.

After being picked up from your accommodation in Kiruna, we start the journey by minibus to the small village Poikkijärvi. Our lodge is located here right next to the Torne river.

We start by providing you with warm overalls, shoes, gloves, helmet and face mask. Fully bundled up, we then go down to the frozen river together, where you will get a proper briefing on how to use the snowmobile in a safe and fun way.

Now the adventure can begin. On large open areas, you get the chance to get to know the machine before we go into the forest. In the forest, the snowmobile tracks winds between the trees and this is where you can understand what winter wonderland really means. The trees in the forest are embedded in a sparkling white blanket of snow. We will stop for some Swedish fika and a hot beverage. After the tour, we will drive you back to Kiruna.

Our tour is built with a lot of thought and should suit the experienced driver as well as you who want to try driving a snowmobile for the first time. But above all, we want to give you an unforgettable memory to bring back home with you.

We have great local knowledge and a lot of experience driving snowmobiles. You will learn tips and tricks to become a good driver and be able to handle the machine so that it is as fun as possible during the tour. We have modern equipment and the latest snowmobile models. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture the adventure and maybe even some wildlife.
