Introduction and Tech prep & Hunt
We depart from Kiruna and use the travel time for a mobile photography workshop. We address the theory of composition and the technical challenges of night photography, helping you adjust your phone’s settings (even if you don’t have a ‘Pro’ mode) to maximize its potential.

Using our 8-passenger van, we navigate to the best weather windows. Upon arrival, every guest is issued a professional tripod. This ensures your photos are crisp and clear, solving the common problem of “shaky” night shots. Your guide stays by your side to help with focus and framing.

The Fire and The Feast
Deep in the wilderness, the experience turns hands-on. You won’t just sit by a fire — you’ll learn how to build one. Under expert guidance, take the ‘Flint Challenge’ to ignite a blaze using traditional materials, without matches! This engaging activity is a guest favorite and provides a sense of accomplishment before we dine. As the flames grow, enjoy a premium tasting board of Lapland’s finest seasonal delicacies, including reindeer, moose, cloudberry jam, and local cheese. Naturally, we’ll keep you warm by serving hot drinks, including the most famous lingonberry drink.

Memories Guaranteed
While you focus on your own photography, your guide will use a professional mirrorless camera to capture high-resolution portraits of your group under the stars, ensuring you have the perfect gallery to take home. In the end, even if the lights are shy, you leave with new skills, a full stomach, and a professional photo gallery. Our small group size (max 8) ensures you are never just a number in a crowd.
