In Kiruna you will find both traditional Sami handicrafts, but also modern ditto by local craftsmen. A century of fashion and tradition

Centrum JW Lindgren

In the heart of Kiruna’s new city center, where modern buildings rise to the sky, lies an ancient treasure that has survived both the test of time and a historic urban transformation. Centrum JW Lindgren, Kiruna’s classic clothing store, will turn 100 years old in 2025. Today, the shop is run by Johanna Lindgren Ringholt, a fourth-generation trader, who took over from her father Janne.

Autumn at Sven Hörnell

On a fresh autumn day at the end of August, we wander along the streets of the city center in search of inspiration for how to enjoy autumn in the best way. We enter the Sven Hörnell store and are met by nature, but indoors. Is it possible? Yes, despite the fact that the fresh air from outside is not inside the store, a strong feeling spreads that you are in the magic that is nature.
