Dogsledding – Sit and Enjoy

Ride on a sled pulled by 10 to 12 eager huskies through the snow covered landscape. The only sound you hear is the panting of the dogs and the runners of the sled moving over the snow.

Enjoy the strength of our huskies in a relaxed way while your guide drives you through snow covered forest and open swamp areas. On clear evenings with a bright moon, trees throw their shadows along the trail and there is a chance to see the northern lights.

On this trip you ride as a passenger on your guides sled (max. 4 people per sled). We pick you up from your hotel in Kiruna or Jukkasjärvi and drive you to our kennel. Before you head out we will provide you with extra clothing (overall, winter boots, mittens, hat). Half way on the trail we will take a break on a nice open spot, where you can enjoy nature whilst your guide will prepare coffee, tea and a snack. Here you have the opportunity to warm up around a cozy fire and talk about sleddogs, northern lights and the winter in Lapland.
