Are you 13-19? Join us in creating a performance in Kiruna

CREATING A PERFORMANCE TOGETHER!

Are you between 13 and 19 years old and interested in dance, music, visual art or creative performance-making?

Between June 15-27, we are looking for young people between 13-19 years of age who would like to take part in creating ‘Dance in apartment’ together with choreographer and artist Paloma Madrid.

‘Dance in apartment’ is a unique site-specific performing arts experience that takes place not in a theatre, but in a home. Together, participants will work with movement, music, visual art, ideas and performance-making to create a production that can later be borrowed from the library – just like a book.

Between 15-27 June. (register your interest for more specific days and time)
Location: Kiruna School of the Arts, Kiruna Public Library and Kiruna Art Hall

The project is carried out together with artist and choreographer Paloma Madrid in collaboration with Kiruna culture school, Kiruna Public Library, Kiruna Konstgille and Aurora Culture & Congress.

‘Dance in apartment’ is part of Community Art Lab Sweden (CALS), a national project supported by the Swedish Inheritance Fund through Livet Bitch Scenkonst.
