Reindeer rides for children. Try lasso throwing, meet and feed the reindeer. Coffee and delicious fika served in the Lávvu. Location: Kiruna center.
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Art Workshop open for winter creative activities.
Come and try painting, drawing, collage, handicrafts, or other paper crafts. Free, everyone is welcome, no registration needed! Location: KIN Museum of Contemporary Art, floor 1 Art Workshop, Kiruna City Hall.
5:00 PM | Inauguration of the Snow Playland!
Come and play and be the first to try this year’s Snow Playland. Location: Stadshustorget (Town Hall Square).
7:00 PM | Concert: Davvi Oktavuohta – Northern Connection.
The Finnish-Sámi joiker, singer, and actress Ingá-Máret Gaup-Juuso unites with northern Finland’s pride in rhythm music, the Oulu All Star Big Band. NOTE: Limited number of seats, free tickets available while supplies last, picked up at the city hall reception from January 15. Location: Kiruna City Hall.

Come and try your luck at the ice fishing pond! Maybe you’ll catch something delicious? Presented by: Lapplands Gymnasium HT/RL programs. Location: Stadshustorget (Town Hall Square).

Registration on site from 9:30 AM. Fika from Ripan, course prep by Trailservice. Completely free! Clubs and balls available to borrow. Location: Kiruna golf course.

The Weaving Studio in Jukkasjärvi Local Heritage Society celebrates local craftsmanship with an outdoor exhibition of weaving art. Location: Stadshustorget (Town Hall Square).
10:30 AM – 1:00 PM | Dog Sledding.
Kiruna Sled Dog Club is on site for anyone who wants to meet their fantastic dogs and try dog sledding. Location: Kiruna center.

Local creators and artisans display and sell their crafts. Location: Aurora Kultur & Kongress, Vistas (one flight up).
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Pony Riding.
Don’t miss pony riding with Kiruna Riding Club. Cold limit: minus 15. Location: Kiruna center.
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Floorball with KIF.
Come and play floorball with Kiruna IF E-youth and Kiruna IF. Bring a helmet, stick, and a good mood. (A limited number of helmets/sticks are available to borrow if you don’t have your own).
