Huggorm are the much-talked-about live band who are being hailed for their debut album and are climbing the charts – their spring debut album *En värdelös historia* went straight to number 2 on both the vinyl chart and the physical album chart.
It’s just rock. Bloody good rock. A blazing, bleeding explosion of distortion and boogie with its epicentre at the Örnäs roundabout. That’s how Huggorm themselves usually describe what they do. And absolutely, it rings true. At the same time, it doesn’t give the full picture of their music. Whereas, on the surface, they might appear to be a life-enhancing party band with maximum energy, their debut album “En värdelös historia” soon reveals more multi-layered characteristics, particularly if you listen to the lyrics. You could say they make a sort of feel-good rock with at least a certain amount of feel-bad lyrics.
