Together for Kiruna – Kiruna Festival is happening!

The Kiruna Festival 2025 is becoming a reality! Thanks to strong engagement and support from the business community, including Kiruna Municipality, LKAB, Sparbanken Nord, and Viscaria, the festival can now take place.

– “It feels fantastic to confirm that the festival will happen! We are committed to ensuring that the Kiruna Festival continues, and we are incredibly grateful for the support from the business community. This is Kiruna’s festival, and we are doing it together,” says Mats Dahlberg, who has recently taken on the role of interim CEO for Aurora Culture & Congress.

Mats Dahlberg, who founded the Kiruna Festival in 2000, and Pekka Salomonsson, CEO of Kiruna Lapland, have been part of the festival organization in various leading roles since the start.

Discussions are currently ongoing with several partners, and many artists are already booked.
