Experience the home of the Sámi in the Goahti
The highlight of this tour begins with a visit to a reconstructed Sámi settlement, where you’ll step into a traditional goahti (tipi). Here, surrounded by the silence of the birch forest and the crackling fire, we share stories of Sámi life through the eight seasons. You’ll also savor Arctic delicacies such as reindeer meat, coffee cheese, ghakku (soft flatbread), and other flavors deeply rooted in Sámi culture.

After our time in the goahti, we take a short walk along Abiskojåkka, the river winding through the national park and out into Lake Torneträsk. Your guide will share stories about the unique environment of Abisko, where the vibrant autumn colours shine brightly and wild berries offer the natural flavors of the land.
