Welcome to the mountains and enjoy breathtaking landscapes and Sámi hospitality. At Nikkaluokta the small village at the gateway to Sweden’s mightiest and highest mountain massif – Kebnekaise – we offer good food and comfortable accommodation.

We have 56 beds in ten cottages and four apartments. The cottages have different comfort and price range. Choose self-catering or eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in Restaurant Skáidi. We also have campsites for tents and caravans.

Hiking, clean air and peaceful atmosphere have attracted visitors for more than 100 years. Sámi culture is present all around – still vibrant among mountain birch and crystal clear creeks.

In Nikkaluokta the road ends and the trail to Kebnekaise mountains starts so leave the everyday life and experience our mountains.

Wintertime in Nikkaluokta offers white plains, cold and aurora borealis. Take a trip on skis or by snowmobile – sit in the snow and enjoy the spring sunshine.
