SkyArk ice-fishing

“Pimpel”, as we call it, is one of the most popular types of fishing, and Lapland’s long winters offer great conditions to do it outdoors, surrounded by untouched landscapes.

Our tour starts from SkyVillage by heading off onto the frozen river, towards a secret fishing lake, located a few kilometers in-land. Through the glass of the SkyArk, you will admire the wilderness throughout the ride, and your guides will stop if any wildlife is spotted for you to take pictures and get a better look.

Once we arrive at our destination, your guide will give a basic fishing lesson, and provide the necessary gear to start fishing in the Arctic.

At noon, lunch will be cooked by the fire: Grilled Salmon, Njala (bread), Shrimp salad, topped with coffee and baked cinnamon buns. (A vegetarian option is available if requested),”
