All prices include 6% VAT.

Tour length

The regular tour is 3 hours and includes transport, safety briefing, guided tour of the mine, coffee and a visit to the mining museum. The transport time is approximately 40-50 minutes depending on the chosen starting and ending point within Kiruna C.

If a shorter tour is desired, certain elements of the experience will be omitted and simplified.
2.5 hours: Coffee is omitted | 2 hours: Coffee and the mining museum are omitted.

Coffee

The price includes drinks and cookies. If cinnamon buns are desired, they can be selected as an option for an extra charge.

Transfer

The tour starts and ends at Kiruna Tourist Center. A transfer fee will be added for other pick-up and drop-off locations. For transfers to or from Kiruna Airport or Jukkasjärvi (outside central Kiruna), the total length of the tour will be adjusted according to the travel time.

Language

Swedish or English. German-speaking guide on request, but availability is limited.

Luggage

For a large private tour, up to 30 suitcases are included on the bus or storage at the tourist center (if the tour starts/ends there). If the need for luggage storage during the tour is greater, please contact minetours@kirunalapland.se for a proposed solution and price quote.

Optional extras

The following optional extras are not included in the base price for a private mine tour and must be pre-booked:

• Cancellation protection – cancel free of charge up to seven days before the tour starts
• Lunch – baguette or salad to be eaten in the café in the visitor center (not summer)
• Fika 2.0 – cinnamon buns
• Extra guide – for example, to be able to divide the group into two languages
