In connection with the exhibition Hole in Reality – Dora Garcia, Pablo Picasso and a mining anniversary, which opens at Kin on the same day, art historian Annika Öhrner will lecture on the large Picasso exhibition in Kiruna City Hall in 1965, which was part of the celebration of LKAB’s 75th anniversary. The former director of the Reina Sofia Art Museum in Madrid, Manolo Borja Villel, lectures on Picasso’s monumental painting Guernica from 1937, which is on display there, and the artist Dora Garcia talks about her interpretation of Picasso, the mining anniversary in 1965 and the big hole in Kiruna.
