Mead tasting

Now Jacob from Restaurang Eld at The Viking Museum in Stockholm takes over Camp Ripan for a unique evening in the spirit of the Vikings.

Join us on a flavorful journey through the legendary history of mead – the drink once toasted by Vikings during celebrations, rituals, and feasts. During the evening, you’ll hear stories and myths about the Norse gods and their connection to mead, while tasting six different types of mead and a mölska – from crisp and dry to rich and sweet. The drinks are paired with a charcuterie platter made from Swedish ingredients.
