In her autobiography <em>Jag \u00e4r Carola<\/em> (I Am Carola), which recounts her upbringing and her life up to 2002, Carola tells her own story for the very first time. As an extension of the book launch, it has now been confirmed that this autumn she will also embark on an extensive tour of the Nordic countries to meet her audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accompanied by pianist Will Oaks, Carola will give over 30 concerts in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and the Faroe Islands, with her debut book taking centre stage. When she shares, through music and storytelling, the songs and events that have shaped her, she describes the experience as being both \u201cintimate and personal, but above all very exclusive\u201d as she performs songs that one might not usually hear at a Carola concert \u2013 such as \u201cKrokodilbarnets l\u00e4ngtan\u201d and Elvis Presley\u2019s \u201cIf I Can Dream\u201d \u2013 interspersed with her greatest hits, including \u201cFr\u00e4mling\u201d, \u2018S\u00e4g mig var du st\u00e5r\u2019 and \u2018F\u00e5ngad av en stormvind\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For over four decades, Carola has been one of Sweden\u2019s undisputed biggest stars. Since her sensational breakthrough with \u201cFr\u00e4mling\u201d in 1983, she has become an integral part of Sweden\u2019s cultural heritage and has lived her life in the public eye ever since.
