Kultura Kiruna

When autumn turns to winter, it’s time for Kultura Kiruna. This event is an annual cultural festival that for ten days transforms Kiruna into an epicentre of culture and joy. Kiruna has been a city of culture since its very beginning, it is a proud tradition that we continue to build on. A new city centre has been inaugurated, and with it a fantastic venue in Aurora kultur & kongress.

Kultura Kiruna is attended by Sweden’s greatest artists and cultural personalities as well as local names. We get to experience music, film, dance, literature, art, architecture, history, theatre, and more. The event’s unique productions include the talk show Norrbotten Berättar, the Arctic Light Film Festival, the Ski Test Weekend – with the season opening of the Swedish mountain world , and the Kiruna Konst- och Föremålsdagar.

Kultura Kiruna is organised by the economic association Kiruna växer, which consists of members from the business world and the public sector.
