The Sámi people have been using reindeer and sleds for transportation of people and equipment for hundreds of years. Join us on this tour and take the opportunity to drive and handle your own reindeer sled. The tour follows a trail through the snow-clad forest landscape. After 1½ - 2 hours driving we return to Reindeer Lodge where we let the reindeers go into the enclosures. The guide will prepare lunch in a wooden Sámi hut and after the lunch we return towards Jukkasjärvi village to Camp Ripan.
